This year’s High Town Festival is a little bit different. Most of if will be taking place online, and in your homes. There’ll be three main parts to the festival this year:
Entertainment: On Saturday 4th July from 2-4pm we’ll be streaming entertainment from some of your favourite acts and some new ones over Facebook and YouTube. There’ll be a magic act from Magic Carl, performances from Sorts Naughty, Shenai and Ozzlebox and much much more.
Family Activities: From Monday 29th June – Saturday 4th July there’ll be daily High Town Challenges to take part in (you’ll be able to access them via the website, Facebook and Twitter) which will include a High Town Trail, Street-chalk competition and a Great Big High Town Singalong. We’ll also be uploading daily ‘how-to’ tutorial videos for you to be able to learn new skills. These will include things like cooking, gardening and learning some basic musical skills.
Stalls: Obviously this year we can’t have physical stalls. BUT we are doing the next best thing. From Monday 29th June to Saturday 4th July we’ll have online listings of local shops, creatives and organisations selling their wares and advertising their services. This will include Health and Well-being, Arts and Crafts and Food. If you’d like to book a stall please fill in this form by Friday 19th June.
